Infants operate on their own schedule. They eat when they need to eat. Some are ready for solid foods before others. This means that tracking a standard menu for infants in your care may not always be the best fit. Some states even require individual infant menu reporting.
KidKare has the answer—Individual infant menu reporting is coming to KidKare Food Program!
We’re eliminating one more piece of paper and are bringing digital individual infant menus to your centers. With this new feature, your centers will be able to:
- Set a default infant menu on the Daily Menu page that applies to all infants recorded at that meal.
- Adjust individual infant menus at mealtime to reflect what that infant ate. Did Jamie have peas and carrots with her formula? Easy! Add peas and carrots to her individual menu.
- Create a default infant menu from the Attendance & Meal Count page if no default is recorded on Daily Menu at mealtime.
- Generate the Infant Feeding report from Daily Menu and the Reports page. Sponsors can print this report in Minute Menu CX.
Do you track quantities? We have you covered there, too—sponsors and centers who track quantities served will be able to record actual quantities served on each infant menu.
Keep your eyes open for more information about this incredible new feature. We are so excited to show it to you!
